David Wollenziehn has practiced law for over 25 years, 10 of them in San Francisco and the Silicon Valley, and has devoted his practice to corporate and transactional work.  He has significant experience handling sophisticated business transactions.  In addition, he represents individuals and businesses in the areas of real estate, taxation, estate planning and general business law.

Mr. Wollenziehn grew up in Milwaukee and received his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1980.  He earned his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin in 1983, and is admitted to practice law in both Wisconsin and California.

In addition, he is licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a Certified Public Accountant.  Out of 73,140 candidates who sat for the November, 1983 CPA examination, he was one of only 118 who were awarded the Elijah Watts Sells "Certificate with High Distinction" for highest composite scores.

Mr. Wollenziehn’s practice in California involved the representation of large, publicly-traded clients both at KPMG, LLP, in San Francisco and later with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosanti, the largest law firm in the Silicon Valley.

Some of the clients that Mr.  Wollenziehn has represented include: Google, Apple, Sun Microsystems, Nestle, Hitachi, and Wells Fargo.  Prior to returning to Wisconsin two years ago, he worked on the acquisition of YouTube by Google.

When he is not practicing law, David enjoys boating and other outdoor activities.
